A Different Kind of Automotive Practice
Royal British Motorcars is a private, relationship-driven automotive specialist focused on British luxury vehicles. Our clients entrust us with vehicles that represent craftsmanship, heritage, and personal identity. The standard of care we provide reflects that responsibility.
We are a high-volume shop with a strong emphasis on speed, accuracy, and quality. Our clients expect confident diagnosis, proper repair, and a level of professionalism that feels far removed from the ordinary service environment.
We are selectively expanding our technical team to include a master-level technician who operates with precision, discretion, and true brand-specific expertise.
"Our work is centered on a select group of British marques, requiring depth, not generalization. We move quickly, but never carelessly."
Role Summary
This position is designed for a highly experienced technician who has developed their craft within high-line dealership environments and is now seeking a more refined, focused setting.
You will work across Land Rover, Jaguar, Bentley, and Rolls-Royce platforms, delivering diagnostic accuracy, meticulous workmanship, and a level of care aligned with a premium client experience.
Tools, Access, and Workflow
- Hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in factory tools, diagnostics, and support systems
- Direct factory access for parts lookup, technical service bulletins, service procedures, and vehicle service history
- Automated Carfax reporting integration and client-facing systems that support a polished service experience
- More than 26,000 parts in inventory to reduce delays, improve turnaround, and increase technician productivity
- No weekend operations, family-run leadership, and a clean, disciplined workflow designed for serious technicians
What the Work Looks Like
- Perform advanced diagnostics, maintenance, and repair on British luxury vehicles with a high degree of accuracy
- Interpret complex vehicle systems, including electrical, performance, driveability, and integrated technology concerns
- Diagnose CAN network failures and electrical faults without guessing or relying on unnecessary parts replacement
- Work through full diagnostic trees after fault retrieval and follow factory logic from symptom to final resolution
- Perform diesel diagnostics with working knowledge of DPF and SCR systems and how those systems interact
- Maintain a disciplined, orderly workflow and return every vehicle in exceptional condition with no leaks, no mess, and no loose ends
- Test drive vehicles as needed, communicate clearly with leadership, and uphold the reputation of a destination-level facility
What Is Expected
- ASE certification preferred and strong technical credibility required
- Dealer or factory training required, with high-line dealership experience strongly preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in diagnostics and repair of complex vehicle systems
- Strong understanding of CAN networks, electrical diagnostics, and brand-specific terminology across systems
- Knowledge of diesel systems, including DPF and SCR, and the diagnostic process behind those systems
- Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be bonded
The Technician We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate brings specialist-level familiarity with one or more of the following marques: Rolls-Royce, Bentley, Jaguar, or Land Rover.
- A disciplined, detail-oriented approach to technical work
- Pride in craftsmanship and a long-term view of vehicle care
- Respect for clean work habits, organized tools, and a polished workshop standard
- Professional demeanor aligned with a high-trust, client-focused environment
- An interest in working within a curated, relationship-based service model rather than a careless, transaction-driven one
Intentionally Structured for Excellence
Our facility is a destination. It is not designed to feel like a conventional repair shop. It is designed to support focused work, client confidence, and a more refined service experience.
High-volume workflow with the expectation of speed, accuracy, and quality
Standards of precision and accountability above what most shops demand
No weekends and a family-run culture built around long-term health and consistency
A discreet, client-centered facility where reputation, trust, and workmanship matter
Who This Role Is, and Is Not, For
Have built a strong foundation within dealership
environments.
Value speed with quality, not speed at the expense of
quality.
Take pride in being a specialist rather than a generalist.
Understand that clean tools and organized work habits reflect
professional discipline.
Want to be part of a brand where trust and reputation define
the work.
Guess through diagnostics or rely on parts swapping.
Prefer broad generalist work across unrelated vehicle
categories.
Do not take cleanliness, documentation, and follow-through
seriously.
Are not prepared to operate within a standard of precision
that is non-negotiable.
"The standard here is not aspirational. It is operational. We are looking for a technician who already lives by it."
